Important: Data practices can differ by app, version, region, age, configuration, and included third-party services. Always inspect the disclosure on the individual Play listing you are installing.
1
What to check on Google Play
- Whether the app says it collects or shares data and which categories are listed.
- Whether data is encrypted in transit and whether deletion is available.
- Whether the app contains ads or in-app purchases.
- The update date, developer contact, and link to the privacy policy.
2
Permissions and advanced Android access
A runtime permission, debugging authorization, Shizuku grant, or root grant is separate from a Play Data safety declaration. Read the in-app explanation and grant only the access required for the feature you intend to use.
Do not approve an unknown computer for ADB, install a root manager solely for a utility, or share setup codes with another person. Remove access you no longer need.
